Remember 9/11

Always remember 9/11.

I am currently watching the news from this horrible day on 9-11-01 with my mom and sister. I was almost one when the two planes hit the Twin Towers, and one hit the Pentagon. We are following a timeline which tells us what happened minute by minute. Here is the link in case you are interested:

http://www.history.com/topics/9-11-timeline

Every year I watch this it seems to be more awful.

At  8:46am the first plane hit the North Tower, and then at 9:03am the second hit the South Tower.  All the sirens, fear,  and absolute pandemonium. Not knowing what is going on. People thought it was a bomb, or possibly a suicide mission. Just standing there watching. At 9:37am, a third plane hit the Pentagon. Then, at 9:59am, the South Tower collapsed.

2,996. Always remember that number. That is the number of people killed on or because of 9/11.

2,996 Lives

2,996 Families effected

If you are reading this. Bow your head and take a moment of silence for those who were killed on 9/11.

  1. Amen. We should always remember those who have died. I'd like to mention, too, the fourth plane that crashed, the one whose occupants recovered the plane from the hijackers. May those who sacrificed their lives on that plane always be remembered, too. <3
    Miss you!
